The role oversees day-to-day non-ferrous yard activities, including purchasing, grading, inventory control, and safety compliance. Bilingual Spanish/English and hands-on leadership are required to manage yard personnel and coordinate with logistics.

The position offers base salary up to $120,000 per year plus discretionary bonus, with competitive health benefits and a 401k plan.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
• 3+ years in a non-ferrous scrap recycling environment.
• Experience grading and purchasing non-ferrous metals.
• Proven leadership of yard personnel or operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the non-ferrous scrap yard, including purchasing, processing, shipping, and inventory management.
• Grade and purchase non-ferrous metals such as copper, aluminum, brass, stainless steel, and insulated wire.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and commercial accounts.
• Supervise yard staff and ensure safe and efficient workflow.
