Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Milpitas, CA is seeking a Merchandising Specialist to keep the front showroom stocked, cleaned, and well-presented. You will greet customers, assist with locating merchandise, and support sales floor merchandising daily.

The role requires strong organization, teamwork, basic computer skills, and stocking experience. Fluency in Spanish is highly desired, with occasional cashier or delivery duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to clearly read, write, and match numbers and letters from various sources.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to work well with others in a team environment.
• Previous stocking experience.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers on sales floor, assist them in locating merchandise or direct them to a parts specialist if hard parts are needed.
• Check in, price, and put up stock.
• Keep merchandise on display floor fronted, full, and assist with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities daily.
• Change displays according to company guidelines, update planograms, update price labels and sale signs.
• Remove sale material when sale ends and restore original pricing.
• Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
• Work with manager to complete store weekly inventory and merchandising tasks.
• Occasionally serve as a cashier or drive a delivery vehicle when needed.
