Job summary

BLUE DOT PSYCHOTHERAPY in the New York City Metropolitan Area is seeking a full-time, licensed or permit-holder Mental Health Counselor. The role includes intake interviews for psychological evaluations for individuals involved in motor-vehicle accidents, with some flexibility for remote work.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, maintain detailed documentation, and travel between clinics as needed. Training and supervision are provided for MHC-LP's to support professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in mental health counseling
• Current and unrestricted mental health counselor license or permit eligibility upon hire
• Spanish fluency required
• Previous experience as a mental health therapist preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform intake interviews for adults
• Create individualized treatment plans for each patient
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and provide crisis intervention support as needed
• Travel between multiple clinics and work independently
• Adhere to facility and licensing standards
• Training will be provided; supervision offered for MHC-LP's
