Job summary

Riley Hospital is seeking a Medical Interpreter to support English-speaking staff and patients with language services for diverse populations. You will interpret for patient and family interactions and support the care team under clinical supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of medical interpretation experience required.
• Completion of the Bridging the Gap program or national certification required.
• Flexibility to assist with translation and other assignments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide interpretation for patients, families, and medical staff.
• Serve as liaison between clinical staff and patients/families.
• Ensure culturally and linguistically appropriate care aligned with IU Health values.
