Job summary

The TemPositions Group of Companies is seeking a Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) Medical Biller for our clients in New York. You will handle eligibility verification, billing using Net Smart, and entering information into the electronic health record (EHR).

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of medical billing experience, Medicaid/Medicare familiarity, and a High School Diploma or GED (Billing Certification preferred). This role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of work experience in medical billing or related field.
• Experience with Medicaid, Medicare and Managed Care.
• Billing software experience (Net Smart preferred).

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Communicate with clients via Spanish and English for Billing questions.
• High School Diploma or GED, Billing Certification, preferred.
• 3-5 years of work experience in related field is required.
• Experience working with Medicaid, Medicare and Managed Care. Experience with Electronic billing software, Net Smart preferred.
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications is essential.
