Call-On-Doc is seeking a bilingual Medical Assistant (Spanish & English) for our Irving, TX location. The role provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office or telemedicine company and supports providers and patients in patient care management, organization, and communication.

Requirements include bilingual abilities, experience as a medical assistant, and proficiency with medical office systems. Schedule is Monday to Friday with paid time off as a benefit.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
• Proven working experience as a medical assistant.
• Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures.
• Excellent time management and ability to multi-task.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and document basic medical history.
• Take vitals and document findings in the patient chart.
• Organize, authorize and schedule appointments for referrals.
• Send prescriptions electronically or by fax.
• Assist during medical examinations.
• Triage patient calls, assess the problem.
• Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms.
• Proven working experience as a medical assistant.
