Job summary

Colorado Physician Partners is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our clinical team in Denver, CO. You will support patient visits, update records, take vital signs, and prep patients for physicians or mid-level providers in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, CMA/Medical Assistant certification, CPR, multilingual skills a plus, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills for taking medical histories, clear instructions, and accurate documentation.
• Basic to intermediate computing and phone skills.
• Willingness to adapt to various duties and cross-train in other departments.
• Ability to multitask in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
• Cultural sensitivity and experience with diverse populations.
• Professionalism and knowledge of universal precautions and HIPAA standards.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish or other languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for patient visits by reviewing and updating records and ensuring test results are current.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms in accordance with infection control standards.
• Prepare patients and notify clinicians when they are ready to be seen.
• Greet patients, take vital signs, and document basic medical history.
• Assist physicians or mid-level providers during examinations.
• Restock supplies and keep areas organized and efficient.
