Job summary

Starling Oncology is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support both administrative and clinical tasks across multiple clinic locations. You will help with patient Check-in, vital signs, specimen collection, EMR documentation, and basic nursing duties under physician supervision.

The role requires compassionate patient care, strong teamwork, and flexibility to work 10am–7pm Monday–Friday; mileage between clinics is reimbursed, and bilingual Spanish/English is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant Diploma program from an accredited institution; MA certificate preferred but not required.
• 2 years of outpatient clinic/medical office experience preferred.
• BLS and CPR certification preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and orient patients; verify demographics and insurance as needed.
• Document patient information and vital signs in EMR.
• Prepare patients for physician care and assist with examinations.
• Perform venipunctures and basic laboratory procedures.
• Administer basic first aid and assist with procedures as directed.
