Wheeler-Clinic in Waterbury, CT, seeks a Bilingual MDFT OUD Clinician to provide model-adherent intensive in-home treatment for adolescents with substance use and related behaviors. The role offers hybrid in-home and remote sessions across Waterbury, New Haven, and New Britain, with MDFT-OUD certification and licensure supervision hours.

Requires license-eligible LPCA/LMSW/LMFT/LMFT or Psychologist; bilingual Spanish/English required; includes sign-on bonus and annual stipend to support

Qualifications

• MSW, LMSW (permit or license) or LCSW may be required to begin employment
• Valid Driver's License required

Responsibilities

• Completes clinical documentation.
• Provides triages for clinical emergencies and aligns with identified safety plan.
• Works collaboratively with internal and external providers.
• Meets with families based on model expectations.
• Provides service in office, remote and/or in-home/community settings outside of the office as defined by the program.
• May transport clients to appointments or linkages as appropriate.
• Works in a team to provide wrap around services to the family both clinical and case management.
• Participates in on-call rotation with teammates to support clients/families in times of crisis.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Bilingual Multi-Dimensional Family Therapy OUD (Opioid Use Disorder) Clinician provides model adherent intensive in-home clinical treatment to adolescents with substance abuse and delinquent behaviors and their families. The Bilingual MDFT OUD Clinician will go through the MDFT certification process, obtain licensure clinical and supervision hours and obtain experience in the adolescent, parent and family clinical realm.

The Multidimensional Family Therapy-Opioid Use Disorder (MDFT-OUD) program is an innovative and evidence-based, intensive in-home treatment program for adolescents and young adults, ages 12-21, presenting with opioid use disorder, complex behavioral health, or social and emotional challenges.

• *Bilingual Required - Must be able to speak Spanish and English.
• $5,000 Sign-on Bonus! Half paid upon hire and half paid at one year of service!
• Bilingual Stipend - $4,576 (annual, paid out throughout the year)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

• Marriage and Family Therapy,Counseling,Social WorkandDoctorate in Psychology.
• Credential(s) Required: Must be licensed or license eligible LPCA, LMFTA, LPC, LMFT or Psychologist. If you are a MSW, a LMSW (permit or license) or LCSW will be required to begin employment.
• Valid Drivers License is required. Safely operates vehicle in the community, based on program needs.

LOCATION

Waterbury, New Haven and New Britain. Position is currently being offered as a hybrid schedule with remote and in-home sessions
