The Trenton Board of Education is hiring a Middle School Mathematics Teacher to join Dunn Middle School. This full-time, 10-month position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons, create a positive learning environment, and align instruction with district goals under the supervision of the Building Principal. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and valid NJ teaching certification or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid New Jersey Teacher Certification or eligibility for appropriate certification.
• All certificated positions require a valid certificate issued by the NJDOE and proof must be uploaded with the application.

• Develops and implements written instructional plans that meet the diverse needs, abilities, and interests of all students.
• Creates and maintains a classroom environment that supports learning and is developmentally appropriate.
• Guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and establishes clear objectives aligned with those goals.
• Demonstrates a commitment to the district's philosophy of education and its instructional goals and objectives through instructional practices and professional conduct.
• Establishes and maintains positive, cooperative relationships with colleagues, students, and families.
• Performs other duties and assumes additional responsibilities as assigned by the building principal.
