PDDINC in San Francisco is seeking a Bilingual Math Tutor proficient in English and Chinese to support K3 to K12 students in mathematics.

You will work with students on Math, Algebra, and Trigonometry, maintaining a good learning environment and communicating with parents about their progress. The position offers a salary between $45,000 and $55,000 per annum, full-time, with benefits including medical, 401(k), and equity options.

Candidate should be strong in Math, Algebra and Trigonometry.

Teaches students from K3 to K12.

After-school learning experience is required.

Good academic background from reputable colleges and universities.

A degree in Mathematics is a big plus.

Note: Candidate will have to work on Saturdays from 10am to 5pm and can take compensatory time off between Monday and Friday.

Salary: $45,000 – $55,000 per annum with benefits including medical, 401(k), and equity options.

Type: Full Time.

Responsibilities

• Oversee students using self-paced computer programs in mathematics and address their questions.
• Identify problems or inadequate approaches of students and teach them the right methods.
• Explain the workflow and procedures of computer programs to new students.
• Maintain a good learning environment for students.
• Communicate with parents (in English and Chinese) about program details and student progress.

Requirements

• Proficient in elementary, middle, and high-school level mathematics.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese.
• Ability to build good rapport with parents and students.
• Mature and strong sense of responsibility.
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team player.

Qualifications
