Niwota Solutions in California seeks a Bilingual Mandarin Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This hands-on, full-cycle role supports day-to-day operations including AP, AR, GL reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close, reporting to the Vice President.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a collaborative team. 2+ years of experience and a related degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English and Mandarin is required.
• 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting activities for the company.
• Process accounts payable: vendor invoices, reconciliations, payments.
• Process accounts receivable: invoicing, statements, collections, recording payments.
• Assist customers with billing inquiries.
• Handle card-not-present credit card transactions through gateway.
• Maintain accuracy of the general ledger.
• Update journals, ledgers, and financial records.
• Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Record journal entries including depreciation, rebates, and prepaid expenses.
• Prepare financial reports and assist month-end closing.
• Participate in new accounting software data mapping and training.
• Provide general admin and customer service support.
