Job summary

TelevisaUnivision in New York is seeking a Teleprompter Operator to join our production team. You will operate the Cue Script teleprompter, load scripts, and work closely with talent and the production staff to ensure precise timing on air.

Responsibilities include inspecting teleprompter hardware, adjusting text size and color, delivering scripts to set, and verifying closed captions when needed. This role supports a 24x7 operation, with on-call shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays as

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Television Production or equivalent work experience.
• Working knowledge of computers and Windows operating systems.
• Bi-lingual (English and Spanish).
• 1–2 years of experience with live studio broadcast.
• Ability to work regular hours plus on-call, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate Cue Script teleprompter by loading and running the script while following the talent
• Clean and inspect teleprompter hardware prior to broadcast
• Change size and color of text
• Deliver scripts to set
• Check closed captioning of recorded or live broadcast if necessary
• Perform other related duties as assigned
