Job summary

Bob Hope School in Beaumont seeks a Bilingual Instructional Library Aide to assist in the campus library. Under the Campus Director, you will help students with library resources, shelving, and research, using Follett Destiny and the circulation system.

The role requires at least 60 college hours (Bachelor’s preferred), strong organization and English/Spanish communication, and the ability to work well with children and adults in a fast-paced school setting.

Qualifications

• Education: 60 college earned hours from an accredited institution; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Special Knowledge/Skills: Ability to meet deadlines, handle interruptions, and communicate in English and Spanish.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; proficient with computers.

Responsibilities

• Provide library assistance and teacher support under Campus Director.
• Shelve books and prepare materials for classroom or reserve collection use.
• Assist with library instruction, research, and instruction of students.
• Operate library media center systems and maintain catalogs.
• Collaborate with teachers across grade levels to provide instructional resources.
