Job summary

El Rancho Supermercado seeks a Kitchen Clerk to support cooks, bakers, and staff in food preparation and kitchen operations. You will help prepare salsa and sides, maintain cleanliness, and assist with stocking and customer sampling. Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.

This role requires basic kitchen skills, a High School diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail kitchen environment with variable shifts and occasional lifting. Training provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic kitchen skills, familiar with food preparation.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Makes salsa and other sides for food entrees.
• Washes dishes.
• Maintains stoves as ready for cooking.
• Ensures products are signed properly.
• Ensures all dining tables are cleaned and stocked properly.
• Offers sample to customers and engages in suggestive selling.
• Other duties as assigned.
