Job summary

El Rancho Supermercado is seeking a Kitchen Cook to prepare meals and provide outstanding service in a fast-paced environment. You will follow recipes, handle food safely, assist with inventory, stock front counters, and ensure items are weighed, labeled, and rotated according to standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Food Handlers Card is required.
• Customer service and retail experience desirable.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and a variety of other kitchen equipment.
• Follow recipe specifications and portion food products according to company standards.
• Maintains standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, store conditions and food safety.
• Takes food orders in person and by telephone.
• All other duties as assigned.
