Job summary

The Korean IT consulting company is seeking a Jr. Java Developer to join our Plano, TX team onsite on a 1-year contract/W2 basis.

You will develop and maintain web-based applications using Java, participate in the full software lifecycle, and collaborate with stakeholders. Required are 2–5 years of Java experience, strong English and Korean language skills, and familiarity with Spring, iBatis/Hibernate/JPA, and Oracle SQL.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of web-based system development experience with Java.
• Fluent English communication, both written and spoken.
• Korean/English bilingual proficiency required.
• Experience with Java and Full J2EE Stack.
• Experience with Spring Framework.
• Experience with iBatis, Hibernate, and/or JPA.
• Experience with JDBC, JSP/Servlet, Web Services, and JMS.
• Experience with HTML/DHTML, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, and AJAX.
• Experience with Oracle Database Server, SQL and PL/SQL.
• Strong understanding of application architecture and maintenance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or data analytics tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web apps and intranet systems using Java.
• Perform server-side design, programming, and application development.
• Participate in full SDLC from requirements to testing and docs.
• Troubleshoot issues and adapt to business functions and structures.
• Support application maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with team and stakeholders to deliver software.
• Develop and maintain database objects, SQL queries, and PL/SQL.
• Assist with UI and module development as needed.
