Job summary

A P A International in New York, NY is seeking a Credit Analyst to join the Corporate Finance Group. The role focuses on credit analysis and credit approval for lending to Japanese corporate clients, with exposure to cross-border transactions.

You will analyze financial statements, assess credit risk, assign internal ratings, and prepare memos while coordinating with Relationship Managers, Risk Management, and Head Office to support sound credit decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience at a bank or financial institution.
• Strong experience in financial statement and credit analysis.
• Strong understanding of Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow.
• Business-level English; both written and verbal.
• Business-level Japanese; native or near-native preferred.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities
