Job summary

Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada seeks an Intake Advocate for the Legal Service Fund Program to assist hotel, casino, and other workers with legal services under a union-negotiated program.

Ideal candidates have three years of relevant experience, can communicate in English and Spanish, and are proficient with Word and Outlook. Starting salary ranges from $41,000 to $54,000 with benefits, paid time off, a 403b match, and parental leave after one year.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, court clerk, or similar.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in both English and Spanish.
• Comfortable with new technology and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Ability to multitask and work with diverse individuals under stressful circumstances.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
