Job summary

Responsibilities

• Work under teacher supervision to create instructional materials.
• Supervise students to ensure safety and welfare during school activities.
• Provide classroom-related clerical support (notes, folders, data collection).
• Prepare and use instructional materials and teaching aids as directed by the teacher.
• Assist with lunchroom activities and dine with students.
• Assist in supervising nap and rest periods.
• Assist with personal hygiene, mobility, feeding and adaptive equipment needs.
• Support with tests and worksheets as guided by the teacher.
• Follow up lessons and supervise small group discussions.
