Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, labor relations, business, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years HR experience required; combination of education and experience considered.
• PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.
• General knowledge of employment laws and practices.
• Manufacturing/CPG experience preferred.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
• Bilingual Spanish is a must.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment processes for hourly roles (sourcing, interviewing, hiring).
• Partner with leadership to ensure timely staffing aligned to business needs.
• Own new hire orientation scheduling and logistics.
• Organize site participation in university recruitment and career fairs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations.
• Support administration of company policies and handbook updates.
• Assist with Leave Administration, accommodations and return-to-work processes.
• Oversee attendance management and disciplinary actions in collaboration with leaders.
• Represent organization at unemployment hearings and investigations.
• Assist with health benefits administration and COBRA-related activities.
• Oversee off-boarding, final paycheck, and HRIS updates.
• Develop two-way communication mechanisms to boost employee engagement.
• Support HRBP with frontline leadership training scheduling and facilitation.
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives and projects.
