Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an HR Generalist to coordinate employee relations, onboarding, training, recruitment, and compliance across sites in Burlingame, CA. The role partners with operations and finance on pay activities and performance management.

You will drive engagement through targeted training, manage personnel records, conduct exit interviews, and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements. A BA/BS in Business or related field and 2–4 years of experience are typical.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field, or equivalent education/experience.
• 2–4 years of experience as an HR Generalist.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish.
• May require a valid driver's license and SBM Driver Approval.
• Safety and task training certifications completed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, retention, and compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources.
• Partner with training departments or external resources for employee and manager development.
• Coach managers with employee relations issues and drive engagement through training and ESAT plans.
• Draft, execute, review, and maintain personnel transaction records and government reporting statistics.
• Champion talent review processes and prepare separation notices and CAPs.
• Conduct exit interviews and train managers on separations and wage changes.
• Consult with managers and finance on pay activities and wage reviews.
• Guide management on performance management, discipline, PIPs, and CAPs.
• Complete special projects, organize information, and prepare reports.
• Travel as required and interview, hire, plan, assign, and direct work.
