Job summary

Cantex is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide personal care and supportive services to hospice patients in their homes or residences, following the patient’s plan of care under nurse supervision. The role requires bilingual English and Spanish communication, compassion, reliability, and the ability to work with the hospice care team to ensure comfort, dignity, and safety.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, documenting care, reporting changes, maintaining infection

Qualifications

• Current state CNA certification is required.
• Hospice/home health or healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility) per plan of care.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and daily care tasks.
• Document care and observations accurately and timely.
• Report changes in patient condition or environment to supervising nurse.
• Maintain safe, clean, infection-controlled patient environments.
