Three Oaks Elementary School in Virginia Beach is seeking a Certified Elementary Teacher to plan and deliver instruction that supports the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of students. Spanish fluency is required to support a diverse student population and family engagement.

The successful candidate will plan, instruct, assess, and maintain accurate records while collaborating with colleagues, parents, and the community to ensure student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education from an accredited college or university.
• Must have or be eligible for Virginia teaching license.
• Fluent in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Plan a program of study that meets the needs, interests, and abilities of students.
• Meet and instruct assigned classes in locations and times designated.
• Create a classroom environment fostering student involvement and achievement of objectives.
• Provide an instructional program meeting needs of all students.
• Prepare for classes and show written evidence of preparation upon request.
• Guide learning toward curriculum goals and establish clear objectives for lessons and projects.
• Establish learning objectives aligned with curriculum and student development.
• Plan and utilize instructional methods and resources to motivate learning objectives.
• Maintain safety precautions to protect students and property.
• Maintain accurate records as required by law and policy.
