Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years related experience as a Funeral Assistant.
• Current driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite and basic computer skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Arrange, conduct and direct bereavement rites, including funeral and memorial ceremonies.
• Coordinate parking, ushering, and transportation for funeral services.
• Assist at chapel, church services, cemetery, and with delivery of keepsakes.
• Provide aftercare and pre-arrangement information when needed.
• Maintain vehicle, facility and inventory; answer phones and prepare reports.
