Job summary

Campero USA Corp. in Austin, TX is seeking a Front of House Team Member, Cashier to greet guests, guide them through the menu, and help them place orders that fit their needs.

You will handle POS transactions, maintain cash accuracy, support quick service, and work with the team to ensure a friendly dining experience. Fluent English and Spanish are preferred; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand long hours.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Preferred: 1+ year of experience in similar roles.
• Ability to lift and push 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must follow the company Personal Care and Hygiene policies.
• Must be able to produce authorized U.S. work documents.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests on every visit.
• Know menu items to suggest and answer questions.
• Verify orders for accuracy and manage to-go orders; process POS transactions and cash handling.
• Operate cash register and count money; give change accurately.
• Count register before/after shifts with management to ensure no shortage or overage.
• Assist with front line food preparation, packaging, and taking orders to tables.
• Provide quick, efficient service and quality products to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work with others and communicate effectively in a busy restaurant environment.
• Follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
