Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations in Baton Rouge. You will receive, store, pull, stage, and prepare flooring materials for customer pickup or delivery while maintaining accuracy and safety.

The ideal candidate has warehouse experience, forklift operation skills, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to learn company systems. Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred and may receive additional compensation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven warehouse experience including forklift operation.
• Bilingual Spanish and English preferred; ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including exposure to varying temperatures and lifting heavy objects.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely to move and store flooring materials.
• Receive, unload, and inspect shipments against packing slips.
• Prepare orders by pulling materials and packing for shipment or pickup.
• Assist in inventory management with cycle counts and stock records.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and follow safety standards.
• Collaborate with team to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
• Handle lifting of heavy flooring materials (up to 50-70 pounds).
• Read and interpret packing slips, safety rules, and operating instructions.
• Write clearly and legibly to complete necessary paperwork.
