Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos
• Write simple correspondence
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds
• Basic PC/Outlook skills (extra credit)
• Retail Management Certificate (extra credit)
• Food Handler Card or equivalent certification required for food preparation, handling and serving
• Must be able to work a variety of hours, including nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of El Super grilled and hot food items following precise company standards for preparation, presentation, and maintaining a clean and inviting restaurant
• Provide excellent customer service to community and store customers
