Job summary

Labcorp seeks a bilingual Phlebotomist - Float to join our team in Suffern, NY. This role involves traveling to multiple clinics, performing venipuncture, collecting various specimens, and ensuring accurate data entry and billing when required.

You will provide excellent patient service and support cross-site coverage with a flexible schedule. Training and growth opportunities are available across our diagnostic network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or a completed training program from an accredited agency.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
