Job summary

Illinois Action for Children is seeking a Family Engagement Specialist to build strong relationships with families and empower them to partner in early learning. The role supports sites in the Western Suburbs with the home office in Matteson, IL.

You’ll develop events, provide resources, and collaborate with our Head Start team to ensure thriving children and families. A caring, energetic, team-oriented individual will excel here.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Early Childhood Education, or Psychology.
• Two years of experience as a caseworker or similar position.
• Desire to connect with families and support their success.
• Creativity and problem-solving skills are a must, bilingualism a plus.

This role supports sites in the Western Suburbs (Melrose Park & Maywood areas), with the home office located in Matteson, IL.
