Job summary
Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Access Representative for a part-time role in Addison, IL. Schedule is 3:30 pm–8:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekend shifts on Saturday and Sunday. The position offers 20 hours per week and benefits related to the healthcare setting.
The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, with an associate degree preferred. Prior experience in patient access, registration, or scheduling is desirable, along with knowledge of health insurance
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
- Experience in healthcare registration, scheduling, or patient accounts is valued.
- Knowledge of health insurance basics and medical terminology is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-patient and out-patient pre-registrations, registrations, and cash collection support.
- Collect and verify demographic, insurance, and clinical data for patients.
- Assist with eligibility checks and basic medical information processing.
- Explain revenue cycle processes to patients and collect signatures as needed.
