Job summary

Moon Lake Elementary, located in New Port Richey, FL, is seeking an Instructional Assistant IA for ESOL/Bilingual needs for the 2026-2027 school year. The role is full-time and benefit eligible, starting immediately after onboarding.

The assistant will support teachers to create a well-organized classroom, facilitating ESOL students to access curricular resources and instruction under the supervision of a Highly Qualified Teacher.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Education or related field required.
• 60 semester hours of college coursework required.
• Obtain qualifying score on the ParaPro Assessment.
• All employees must satisfactorily complete required trainings.
• All employees must meet mandated federal and state health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher to provide a well-organized, smoothly functioning educational environment.
• Support instruction under the direct supervision of a Highly Qualified Teacher.
• Help students take full advantage of the instructional program and resources.
