Job summary

Madison Metropolitan School District is seeking a Middle School Operations role at Wright Middle to support English language learners and school-wide instructional services. The position is exempt and part of MMSD’s district-wide mission to foster inclusive, high-quality education.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Multilingual Services, MTSS teams, and administrators to ensure ELs receive appropriate language development support and alignment with DPI requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree. Official transcripts are required for formal employment.
• Wisconsin DPI teaching license in Middle School (Regular Education), ESL, or Bilingual/Bicultural (preferred).
• Applications are considered on a rolling basis. Must obtain and maintain required license(s).

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional supports for ELs and language development within diverse program types.
• Collaborate with Multilingual Services staff to coordinate services and ensure ESL compliance.
• Participate in MTSS teams to support EL students and ensure culturally responsive practices.
