Responsibilities

• Provides interpretation and translation services to facilitate communications between English and a designated second language.
• Communicates with staff, administrators, teachers, students, parents, and others in English and a designated second language.
• Provides language support, over the phone, to Columbus City Schools personnel District-wide and non-English speaking parents/guardians of Columbus City Schools students.
• Assists school administrators with developing and translating forms, bulletins, and notices to parents and the community.
