Jefferson County Public Schools seeks a Bilingual Associate Instructor I, II, or III at Dunn Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. Start time 9:40 am, 187 days per year, 7 hours daily.

This role supports Multilingual Learners and families within the ESL program and coordinates resources with diverse community partners. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, bilingual proficiency in English and another language, and experience working with children and families

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Passing score on para-educator assessment or 48 college hours.
• Demonstrated proficiency in two languages: English and another language.
• Experience with diverse families and students with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating, creating, and implementing supports for Multilingual Learners and their families.
• Coordinate resources and partnerships with diverse community stakeholders and provide direct service to MLs and families.
