Job summary

KPA is seeking an EHS Risk Management Consultant to support automotive clients across the Bay Area from a home-based office with frequent client visits. The role focuses on reducing risk and improving profitability through strong relationships, audits, training, and environmental health and safety compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science/Engineering, 3+ years of EHS experience, excellent communication, and the ability to travel, including overnights.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Environmental Health & Safety experience preferred.
• Must be able to develop and maintain strong relationships at all levels.
• Willingness to travel to client sites, including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite field audits for OSHA, DOT, Fire Code, and EPA compliance and provide corrective actions.
• Deliver trainings to client employees and management teams; moderate safety committees.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, auto dealer groups, and state dealer associations.
• Develop and monitor accident prevention programs to ensure safe working conditions.
