Job summary

Jobot is hiring an EHS Manager for our Smithfield, NC site. On-site, full-time, permanent role with a competitive salary of $110,000–$130,000 per year. The candidate must be bilingual (Spanish) and have 5+ years in EHS within manufacturing, plus strong OHSA knowledge.

The role covers policy development, audits, incident investigations, training, and cross-functional collaboration to improve safety performance and document control. Commitment to a positive safety culture is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an EHS role within manufacturing.
• Bilingual (Spanish) required.
• Strong knowledge of OHSA regulations and safety legislation.
• Experience with document control and safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage EHS policies to ensure compliance with regs.
• Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure standards.
• Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for all employees.
• Manage document control to ensure EHS documents are compliant.
• Lead the EHS team and provide guidance and feedback.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into operations.
• Manage regulatory relationships and respond to inquiries or inspections.
• Monitor EHS performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Promote a positive safety culture across the organization.
