Job summary

Xenter is seeking an EEG Technician Contractor in the Miami area to support EEG and audiometry testing as a 1099 contractor. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, MA/Phlebotomy/Nurse training, and CPT/CCMA/CMA or LVN certification.

In-person work with patient-centered procedures and HIPAA-compliant documentation is expected. Responsibilities include scheduling, preparing patients, attaching electrodes, monitoring data quality, and generating reports for physicians.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to brain function and neurological assessments.
• Bilingual English and Spanish for patient interaction and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly to patients.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients for all testing and explain pre-testing procedures.
• Prepare patients for EEG and audiometry procedures and ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Attach electrodes accurately according to standardized protocols for high-quality signal connectivity.
• Monitor patient responses, identify artifacts, and adjust for safe data collection.
• Operate EEG, HCU, and audiometry equipment to capture brain wave and audiogram data.
• Maintain documentation of procedures and results in HIPAA-compliant manner.
• Generate patient reports for review by neurologists or physicians.
• Ensure equipment cleanliness and adherence to infection control standards.
• Transport and set up testing equipment across clinics as needed.
• Phlebotomist knowledge and experience is a plus.
