Qualifications

• Successful completion of student teaching requirements and coursework to obtain Illinois teaching license(s).
• Illinois State Board of Education license with bilingual endorsement required for the taught grade level.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare lessons in accordance with CPS policies, standards and laws.
• Administer tests and language assessments to evaluate students’ language abilities.
• Monitor progress, set goals, and maintain accurate records of students’ achievements.
