Job summary

Lone Peak Dental Group is seeking a motivated Bilingual Dental Assistant with EFDA/EDDA certification to join our team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and another language, with strong communication and patient-care skills to support examinations and treatments.

You will assist the dentist, take and develop dental x-rays, prepare and sterilize instruments, and help educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care while maintaining accurate records and a clean, stocked

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program.
• EFDA or EDDA certification required.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and another language.
• X-ray certification preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Take and develop dental x-rays.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and postoperative care.
• Perform expanded functions as allowed by state regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Ensure the dental office is clean and well-stocked.
• Assist with front office tasks as needed.
