Job summary

Heartland Dental LLC is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant in Cape Coral, FL to join our energetic team. The ideal candidate has at least one year of general dentistry experience and is fluent in English and Spanish, with a strong focus on patient care and education.

The position offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus, full-time hours Monday–Thursday 7:30 am–5:00 pm, and a supportive environment within Heartland Dental’s network of 1,800+ offices.

Qualifications

• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state act.
• 1+ year dental office experience preferred.
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and PHI protection compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital imaging).
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry) to dentists.
• Use Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping.
