Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a delivery driver in the Phoenix area to safely and efficiently deliver parts and products to stores and distribution centers. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and may help serve diverse customers in our service network.

Responsibilities include operating a company vehicle, signing for stock transfers, maintaining route manifests, and ensuring proper documentation and vehicle upkeep according to company policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and/or distribution center.
• Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on set route, deliver to appropriate store.
• Maintain daily city route manifest for deliveries.
• Keep fleet/fuel card, vehicle and keys secure; report accidents per guidelines.
• Ensure invoices are verified by store personnel and route manifests signed.
• Report delays to city delivery supervisor and affected stores.
• Clock in/out as per policy; log mileage and check fluid levels daily.
• Report maintenance needs and ensure vehicle is secured at end of day.
