O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate company vehicles, deliver parts to professional customers, and collect COD payments while ensuring safety and security. The role involves handling returns, using handheld delivery devices, and maintaining vehicle readiness.

Candidates with bilingual abilities (Spanish preferred) are encouraged to apply. Daily tasks include customer service, stock assistance, and adherence to fuel, safety, and clock-in/out policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the company’s 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet company driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and perform daily inspections.
• Keep vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet cards, devices, and monies secure at all times.
• Pickup customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or accidents to store manager immediately.
• Fuel vehicles, secure them at end of day, and clock in/out as required.
• Assist customers as needed and support merchandising and stocking tasks.
