Job summary

Petco in Dallas is seeking a Distribution Center Supervisor to lead one or more DC teams, prioritize tasks, and ensure accurate data logging and reporting. You will work in a fast paced warehouse environment, coordinating with other departments to maintain smooth inbound and outbound flow.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor's preferred), plus solid DC management knowledge, scheduling and inventory control experience, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of DC management principles, including scheduling, accounting relationships and inventory control.
• Working knowledge of basic computer skills to log, track and report data.

Responsibilities

• Supervise one or more work units in the Distribution Center and delegate tasks.
• Interact professionally with internal contacts and protect the Company’s interests.
• Prioritize and complete multiple tasks within established timeframes.
• Analyze data to determine the appropriate course of action.
• Move merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Contribute to performance evaluations and hiring/disciplining of employees.
