Job summary

Cardenas Markets is seeking a Customer Service team member to deliver courteous, accurate service at the front end and handle cash with integrity.

You will greet customers, answer questions, support Frontend operations, and ensure store standards and safety. Bilingual Spanish and English is preferred, with lifting up to 20–30 lbs. This on-site role offers wage scale $17.90 to $20.45 per hour in Moreno Valley, CA.

Qualifications

• Customer service and retail experience desirable.
• Bilingual: Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets and assists customers in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Provides support to Frontend team in the absence of Frontend Manager.
• Operates front end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Maintains clean, organized store conditions and adheres to safety and sanitation standards.
• Manages cash handling and balanced cash drawers; processes returns, refunds, and credits.
• Schedules coverage and completes end-of-shift procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
