Base Pay Range

Job Description

Color Mixer Specialists tint and mix paint to customer specifications. They also work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend solutions. Specialists stay up-to-date with product features and maintain the high quality and visual standards of the products and store. They are tasked with providing excellent customer service while consistently meeting the store’s sales goals.

Job duties involve contact with customers, including minors, and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise and other items of value. The Company requires a review of criminal history to protect the business, its customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors and the general public.

The selected individual will work at Store #2504, 2109 Roseland St, Greensboro, NC 27408. This is a full-time position with up to 40 hours per week. Starting salary is $15.30/hr.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customers' paint orders quickly and accurately
• Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications
• Prepare drawdowns for submittal to customers
• Clean, fill, and repair equipment, as needed
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse
• Stock shelves and set up displays
• Clean store equipment
• Load/unload delivery trucksAssist in making deliveries, as needed
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition of assigned areas
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
• Comply with inventory control procedures
• Suggest ways to improve sales

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country without needing sponsorship
• Must be able to remove material from shelves and lifting up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally
• Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends
• Have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• At least one (1) year experience in delivery, retail, or customer service
• Previous work experience selling paint and paint related products
• Previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
