Job summary

The Clinician at Clear Destination Inc. provides support, training, assessment, and service coordination to prospective and current therapeutic foster families.

The Clinician serves as a member of the therapeutic team providing support to staff and families in the management of placement stability. This full-time position in Bristol, CT offers a comprehensive compensation package including a $62,000 salary, a $4,576 bilingual stipend, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus, along with a suite of health,

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience working with behavioral health services for children, adolescents and families.
• Experience working with the foster care population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of psychopathology and behavioral health concerns and adheres to safety protocols.
• Communicates effectively with children, foster families, biological families, and providers.
• Attends meetings with staff and foster families to support placement stability.
• Provides support and direction to foster families to assist in caring for the children placed in their homes.
