Job summary

Astor Services in New York seeks a Clinician-Day Treatment to support elementary and middle school students who need therapeutic services. The role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering individual, group, and family therapy in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

You must hold LMSW/LMHC/LCSW licensure in NY and have at least one year of experience with K-8 settings; bilingual English/Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• LMSW/LMHC/LCSW licensure in NY is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience with K-8 in mental health or educational settings.
• Bilingual ability in English and Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families to determine treatment needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, caregivers, and other service providers.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists, case managers, and educators, to ensure coordinated care.
• Monitor and evaluate clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients and families as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment interventions.
• Participate in supervision, training, and professional development activities.
