Job summary

Duke University School of Nursing seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator (Spanish-speaking) to join our NIH-funded research team focused on traumatic brain injury and caregiver support. The role is full-time, on-site, grant-funded, and involves bilingual participant interactions and extensive data collection in English and Spanish.

You will screen, recruit, and conduct study visits, manage regulatory documents, and support analytic activities while collaborating with investigators and staff

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree plus a minimum of two years of relevant experience or a Bachelor’s degree.
• Fluency in Spanish and English (speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension).
• Experience with randomized controlled trials preferred.
• Experience in clinical research or healthcare settings.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct participant screening and recruitment for English- and Spanish-speaking individuals.
• Lead study visits and data collection activities in English and Spanish.
• Manage study operations and ensure regulatory compliance with SOPs.
• Oversee data collection, quality control, and analysis activities.
• Support study and site management, scheduling, and regulatory submissions.
• Ensure ethical conduct of research and report adverse events when needed.
• Contribute to scholarly activities, manuscripts, and presentations.
• Demonstrate leadership and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
