Job summary

Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator 1 to support NOSES and Vanguard studies across Virginia. This in-person role requires evening/weekend availability to coordinate recruitment, data collection, and study logistics in collaboration with ACORN and other investigators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
• At least 1 year of formal research experience with direct interaction with study participants.
• Reliable transportation to travel to clinics or deliver study supplies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Travel to primary care clinics, urgent care clinics, and community events across Virginia.
• Recruit, screen, and enroll patients per study protocols.
• Engage patients before, during, and after clinic visits.
• Communicate study information to practice teams and patients.
• Record data in REDCap and Excel and participate in trainings.
